I feel that this has been an incredibly draining week, but it has finally resulted in one of my favorite days at work: Undergraduate Research Day! So my hug today goes out to my incredibly talented Biology students at Boston College.
I am really fortunate to work in such a dynamic, supportive, and fun department at BC and I absolutely love academic advising. This year especially I am seeing some amazing students graduate and I could not be more proud to have worked with them.
At our research day today, students will present their research in faculty and off-campus labs at a poster symposium. This year we had a record of 70 posters! It has definitely been a ton of work to pull today off, but seeing the students light up about their research and the novel impact their work will have on the scientific and medical community is electrifying.
Thank you Bio students for making my job so special!
After our event I’m off to the Cape for a girls’ weekend, so I’ll have lots of photos and updates to share later!
