Mine, per usual, involved a lot of running with some other shenanigans thrown in. Saturday morning I woke up bright an early for my long run of the week, https://www.strava.com/activities/554239142/embed/a084f16be28ebfee269ed4797374e455bb8ccbda“>12 miles.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for pace sine I had run the previous 4 days, but I managed a 7:33 minutes per mile pace! That puts me in a great spot to get close to 1:37 for the Run to Remember half at the end of May.
The rest of the morning I helped my friends Sarah and Barbie move to their new apartment, which really meant a lot of ridiculous selfies with Robin and Lola.
Saturday night was a low key take out and movie night since I had an early morning Sunday to head come for the Columbus Park 5k at Clark University!
It was so great to see my family! My cousin Siobhan did a wonderful job organizing the event! Katie Dennis ran the kids run and the rest of us ran or walked the 5k.
In spite of going the wrong direction at one point in the race, I was actually the first female to finish! It was a pretty small race, but I was happy to keep my pace pretty quick after such a heavy training week. Final time was 21:49 (7:00min pace).

Thursday: 6x1200m @ speed pace (7.7mi total)
Friday: 5 miles easy
Saturday: 12 miles at almost goal pace
Sunday: 3 miles at race pace
